Welcome to the Avarios Homepage. This is a website upheld and updated by me, the Dungeon Master of a Dungeons and Dragons campaign run under the new 4th edition system. On this website, I will record the sessions of my campaign in webnovel format under the above title, Champions of Avarios. This will update once a week. I will also use it as a method of keeping my players informed and a place to give my initial reactions toward 4th edition as a player and as a DM.

News and Updates
6/20/08 - Sorry reader-munchkins, but while I have all of chapters 2 through 5 planned out perfectly, I haven't got the time to write them at the moment. I'm currently taking a summer class and I have a huge midterm next Tuesday, thus I only have a few small options for my time, including studying, preparing next Sunday's session, more studying, playing other D&D and (yeah, you guessed it!) even MORE studying.
Yeah, this summer class is definitely cutting into my time, but it's absurdly easy material that just takes up lots of time, and thus would be embarrassing if I didn't get an A in it. If I can rustle up the time, I'll do my best to complete Chapter 2 by Sunday, but if not I promise updates next week for sure. I'm sorry, this has been a pitiful excuse for a webnovel so far, but that's because for some absurd reason I insist on trying to get a degree. Anyhoo, thanks for your patience, and honestly, when the options are either read a summary of last week's game or have a shiny new session ready to go, which do you think my players are going to pick? Yeah, I must respect the players, I really must. Have good weekends all, I'm going to go back to studying logic now.
6/16/08 - The Second Session went really well for everyone. Sadly, due to the group being too large for eight people, Jake decided to drop out. Sad days for all, but that's the problem with DMing for eight people - sometimes people get left out, as it's hard to cater to everyone. Either way, we'll all miss him a lot. But yeah, I"m hoping to get Chapter Two up by Wednesday... but we'll see how that goes.

6/12/08 - Okay, looks like the first chapter of the novel will be good to update by Saturday at the latest. Also, it looks like the first session will be divided into five chapters, so five updates will be covering the first session. I'll do my best to keep these updates regular - one update this week, two next week, two the week after. As soon as I get a little more information from one or two of the players, chapter one will be ready. Watch this space!
6/11/08 - Character backstories updated on the campaign page. Any players who wish to make any adjustments to their characters' backstories should let me know.
